Ira Marlowe
When Ira Marlowe was fourteen, his father scoffed at his plans to be a rock star. “Son,” he cautioned, “many are called, but few are chosen.” Now, after decades in music — strolling with his guitar between the tables of a Howard Johnsons’, singing at a circumcision, being spit on by 4-year-olds — he finds to his great delight that he’s more excited than ever. These days he’s no longer that concerned about being chosen. He knows he’s lucky to still feel called.
Along this bumpy journey, he’s ventured into kids’ music, musical theater, teaching, screenwriting and in 2012 he even opened his own venue — The Monkey House. Located on Berkeley’s University Avenue, it’s a fifty-seat theater hosting songwriters, comedians, actors, storytellers, magicians – anyone offering thoughtful, in-person entertainment.

Meredith McHenry
Meredith has been singing since before she could talk (as all children do), and gave her first solo performance at 10 years old. After studying classical voice, musical theater, and jazz in college she took a sharp left turn and veered into the business world for nearly a decade. That road left her with the feeling that something was missing in her life. She knew music was that absent puzzle piece but had very little time to devote to a band or theatrical production between long hours in grueling, high-stress, sales positions. So, just to get her feet wet again, in 2007 she began singing karaoke in local bars, winning a number of contests along the way.
Meredith has been performing professionally since 2011 when she unexpectedly landed an appearance on ABC’s short-lived attempt to jump into the singing show genre with the show “Karaoke Battle USA”.

Clementine Darling
Clementine Darling is an Americana Folk Singer-Songwriter making waves in San Francisco’s music scene. Originally from Seattle, Washington, Darling busked her way down the West Coast in 2010, on a road trip that led her to put down roots in San Francisco’s North Bay— Sonoma County, California. The two locals influenced her debut 11:11 EP and subsequent Live At The Lost Church— a collection of introspective songs and soulful ballads, with undertones of Seattle 90’s grunge.
In 2023, Darling released “Butterfly” and “This Is It”, the first two singles off of her upcoming Bootstraps EP. Darling has played festivals including The Emerald Cup, sharing the bill with Margo Price and Rising Appalachia, SXSW, Railroad Square Music Festival and Balanced BreakFEST.
