Jason Grant

Portland singer-songwriter Jason Grant brings a powerful blend of alternative folk, pop, and acoustic storytelling to the stage. Known for his expressive vocals and versatile songwriting, Grant has spent more than two decades performing and recording across multiple musical projects and genres.

Grant first gained recognition as the frontman of the band HEMA, which earned the title of Portland Band of the Year in 2011. Over the years, he has also contributed to projects including Ill Lucid Onset, Over Alders, and Rysenfall, demonstrating a wide musical range that spans folk, rock, R&B, and pop influences.

After spending time performing and recording in Texas, Grant returned to the Pacific Northwest to continue developing his solo work and reconnect with Portland’s vibrant music scene.

Grant’s recent solo release explores themes of resilience and personal transformation, reflecting on the emotional rise, fall, and renewal that follow life’s turning points.
