Dave Dudley, Dave Irwin, Kelley Faulkner and Stuart Campbell discovered a shared love of songwriting and have come together to bring each other’s songs to the stage. They bring instrumental texture and harmonies to each player’s style of writing.
Dudley comes from a blues background, Irwin from folk and bluegrass, Kelley from folk/indie/jazz/pop, and Stuart from folk. They explore the common ground in those styles, & have fun blending them.
Opening for The Side Notes is Jazz pianist and songwriter Stephanie Bruce.
Stephanie Bruce is a veteran jazz singer, pianist, songwriter, arranger, producer, and vocal teacher with more than three decades of professional experience. She recently relocated from the San Francisco Bay Area to Portland. She has appeared at respected venues including Yoshi’s, the California Jazz Conservatory, and Jazz at the Chimes.
