Shelley Garrett, owner and founder of Americana PDX  has been in the music community since the mid 90s, serving on the board of the Cascade Blues Association twice, as well as  served on the board of the Oregon Music Hall of Fame, compiled the calendar for the Jazz Society of Oregon for 22 years.  Shelly manages the music career of John Bunzow since 2018

For two years (2023-2025), Shelley worked as the booking agent at the Artichoke Music and became the volunteer Executive Director.

Shelley has directed her booking focus to bring music closer to home… The venues so far are in Southeast Portland (DeNicola’s Italian Restaurant) Central Eastside Portland (HōKū Events on Madison), and in Southwest Portland (Burlingame Space & the Old Market Pub)

As we gear up, audiences have been ecstatic about finding music in their neighborhoods and we’re just getting started!
