Jon Albertson

A Portland guitarist whose music is rooted in the “live analog” tradition, authentic, unhurried, and deeply intentional. With a background as an educator and a lifelong student of the instrument, his playing prioritizes melody and presence over flash.

His style is a refined blend of folk-influenced fingerstyle and soulful acoustic arrangements, developed through years of performing in intimate spaces across the Pacific Northwest. Whether he is interpreting a classic or exploring a new composition, Jon’s music is characterized by a warm, resonant tone and a literary sensibility that invites listeners to lean in and truly listen.
